CyberIndexBeta

The independent index for cybersecurity products

Cybersecurity is too important to be chosen based on marketing, brand recognition, or who pays the highest commission. We created CyberIndex to give every CISO, business, and family a clear and honest way to understand what cybersecurity products really do, how they were tested, and which one is right for them.

Our mission is simple: make cybersecurity product selection decisions easier, more transparent, and based on evidence people can trust.

Find the right protection

Explore cybersecurity products by category, compare lab results, certifications, platforms and price, each with its source.

The data at a glance

Independently checked

The independent test labs and certifications CSI reads, and how many products in the field each covers have a result or certificate on record. A product without one is unrecorded, never a failed test.

Vendors by country

250 of 254 listed vendors have a known country, across 35 countries. Country not yet known for 4 vendors.

Why CSI exists

Choosing a security product should start from what is known, not from what is loudest.

CSI brings independent test results, certifications and product facts into one place, shows where they came from, and says plainly when something is unknown.

  • IndependentLab results and certifications are taken from the bodies that issue them.
  • Open about gapsWhere CSI has no recorded value, it says Unknown rather than guessing.
  • Built togetherBuyers, vendors and labs can all help keep it right.

CyberIndex brings together public information from vendors, test labs and certification bodies, partly with the help of AI. Most values link to their source, so you can check them for yourself. Products change quickly — if something looks out of date, let us know.

How CSI works

  • Evidence-backed. Facts read from a source link to it; CSI’s own and AI-assisted values are marked as such.
  • Four truth states. Unknown, not tested, not applicable and not supported are different things.
  • Freshness is visible. Each value shows when CSI last verified it, not when the vendor last shipped.
  • Nothing is overwritten. Superseded facts stay in the record.
